If you layer your hair angled towards your face it'll shorten the length of your face and also add a little volume. esp. if you have a layer at ear length, a layer at chin length and so on. Try to cut it into a medium cut slightly above shoulder length. Stay away from a center part try to get a style with a side part. Oh and try bangs. depends on HOW different you want it.
you could do anything from layers in the front to getting it chopped off to 2 or 3 inches long and flippy.
i have super short hair , but i love long hair - on other people.
