I love having my hair long, but I am willing to change it. I play guitar, and I love music...especially old heavy metal. But, I want to look my best for my career. What should I do? I used to often wear my hair in a ponytail, but I am tired of that. I don't wanna do that anymore. My hair is about four inches past my shoulders in length. I could get it cut, but the problem is, I don't really know how to style it, when it's short. I also don't really know of any dudes who have a short hair style that I fancy. What would you do?

I think long hair is out and looks messy if you want to be professional you should cut it. Look at some of the sports stars you like do any of them have hair you like. I would get it short on the sides and a little longer on the top.
